Emboo Safari Camp, Kenya

On-Site Biologist & Content Creator
I spent 10 months on-site at Emboo River Camp working as a Wildlife Photographer and Field Biologist, blending safari photography, guest education, and practical conservation support. The goal was to create strong visual storytelling for the camp while deepening the science and learning experiences available to guests and guides.
This was a hybrid role: part photographer, part biologist, part science communicator. I was hired to create wildlife and lifestyle imagery for camp marketing and storytelling:
What I did:
-
Supported guest experience through hands-on science learning
-
Strengthened connections between camp staff, guides, and conservation partners
-
Helped document and organize biodiversity knowledge around camp
Why you should hire me for your camp:
This kind of embedded role creates content that feels real and informed. Guests don’t just see beautiful images. They experience the story behind the wildlife, the research behind the scenes, and the people doing the work.
-
Stronger storytelling tied to real impact
-
Content grounded in science, not just aesthetics
-
A richer guest experience that people remember and talk about
