Marine Naturalist and Guide

For three seasons I've worked as a Naturalist and Deckhand with Prince of Whales Whale & Marine Wildlife Adventures in Vancouver and Vancouver Island, delivering science-based interpretation and guest engagement on whale watching tours.

 

The role combined marine natural history, large-group communication, and real-time wildlife interpretation in dynamic ocean conditions. I also contributed as a content creator, photographing each trip and sharing images with guests, while supplying photo assets for the company’s social media and marketing. My photography and experience also supported individual whale identification.

I was recognized as the company’s top-rated naturalist in 2023.
